Linux is a multi-user and time-sharing operating system. It was developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991 and since then it is a journey of handwork and creativity. It is open source and its source code is available over the internet. We all know about it, so I am not going to spend more words on the introduction of Linux and let's begin exploring it. Important Components Bootloader: Every operating system goes through a startup process called booting. It resides on the first sector of the hard disk ( first 512bytes ).
